The Sonda II was first flown during the early 1970's and continues in use today. This Micro kit is designed to use the Quest™ Micro Maxx™ engines and is based on our "Minimum Diameter" T-MM body tubes. Includes 3D printed nose cone, Kevlar® shock cord, metallized polyester streamer, water-slide decal and our usual complete instructions. Due to the small parts involved, these kits are not recommended for the first-time modeler. Younger modelers should have the assistance of an adult when trying to construct these small kits. Length: 5.38"(13.65cm) Diameter: 0.282"(0.72cm) Weight: 0.11oz(3g)Scale 1/41.5(0.024) Streamer Recovery Skill Level: Beginner Recommended Engines: Micro MaxxWhat you'll need to build this model: Adhesives (a quick-curing epoxy glue can be used for most steps and is recommended, cyanoacrylate(CA) is recommended for some steps and you may also use throughout if preferred); hobby knife with a sharp #11 blade; straight edge (preferably metal); double-sided cellophane ("Scotch") tape; paint (Spray or bottle paint, such as such as Krylon, or Tamiya is recommended. Be sure not to mix different types or brands of paint without testing.) - primer (optional), white, fluorescent red & clear (optional); sandpaper (medium - 220 or 280, fine - 320 or 400, & [optionally] extra fine - 500 or 600); pencil. Recommended, but not required: tweezers, sanding block, tack cloth; decal setting solution such as Micro Set or Micro Sol. What you'll need to fly this model: Electronic launch system; launch pad with Micro Maxx launch rod; recovery wadding; Micro Maxx engines. Made in the USA
