PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE KIT! Now including Clear Fins! You get the 3D printed parts only.If you want super detail, look here:https://www.ebay.com/itm/293879991032 Be the hit of your rocket club by flying a model of SpaceX's first manned flight! This is a set of 3D printed parts to build your own FLYING model of SpaceX's Crew Dragon with Falcon booster. Two astronauts were launched to the International Space Station in a historic first on May 30, 2020, ending a long drought of US manned launch capability. It's approximately 1/90th scale. The spacecraft itself (with "trunk") is about 3 1/2" tall; the complete rocket when built according to plans is about 27.5" tall and 1.6" in diameter. If you're looking for SpaceX's Starship (Formerly the BFR), you'll find it here:Starship THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE KIT! In addition to the 3D printed parts in this kit, you will need: Estes BT-60 tubing (Inner Diameter: 1.595" Outer Diameter: 1.637"), 3.5" long.Estes BT-60 tubing (Inner Diameter: 1.595" Outer Diameter: 1.637"), 12.5" long.Estes BT-50 tubing (Inner Diameter: 0.950", Outer Diameter: 0.976"), 4" long, for motor mount.2 ea. centering rings, .98" ID X 1.37" OD X 1/16" thick.Motor hook or motor retention of your choice.18" parachute, shock cord, and shock cord mount.Epoxy (Recommended). You'll have to make your own decals, if you want them. You can get all the parts you need, except the centering rings, from Apogee Rockets, my favorite rocket shop. You'll have to make the centering rings from scratch out of mat board, cardboard, or thin plywood. Here's what you get: The spacecraft with "trunk" attached. The Falcon 9 booster top with the grid fins. The tail section with slots for through-the-wall fins.4 Laser-cut clear fins (not shown). Cable tunnels for first and second stages.A 3/16" conformal launch lug with molded standoff.Instructions and templates. All parts are as printed, unassembled and unpainted. They will need some cleanup and sanding for an attractive model. They will have visible layer lines. May have some small flaws from the printing process, such as bumps or small voids. Recommended for experienced modelers over 12. Handling time is based on printing to order and may be shorter. If you have built a few rockets in the past, especially if you've done some scratch-building, this kit will get you on your way. Included is a complete parts list, instructions, templates, blueprint, build photos, and a link to download decals. The prototype flies very well on D12-3 and D12-5 motors. Can also be flown on 24mm Aerotech motors for more altitude. I assume ZERO responsibility for poor assembly or bad flights. Build well, fly wisely! Original design by Zastro, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1802512, heavily modified by me. Caution: Possible choking hazard. (Launch lug only) Keep away from children under 3! Note: Don't leave this in a hot car! It may soften and distort. Check out my other items!
